I began trading RadioActively with about $2,500. Now, I will mention that I had the good fortune to get in to AMZN at $16.09 on October 1st, 2002 (check your historical charts) but not everyone will have that good of a first pick.
It would be irresponsible of me to say that you can generate a living already from the capital that you have. What is ESSENTIAL now, however, is that you begin your learning process with the smaller amounts.
If you were to attend a university for a specialty career, or say, to become a doctor, your outgo might exceed your income in the near term. Same with THIS endeavor… you may pay more initially for books, classes, and subscriptions than your investments return to you. However, I believe that the value of these classes will keep you OUT of the soup when a bad trade hits… leaving you with enough money to catch winners like my AMZN pick, or more recently SWN, STP, PCLN, RIMM and others that hit ‘em out of the park.
